After doing her master thesis for two years at the Max-Planck Research School in Goettingen, Germany, Elsa decided to re-join our lab and work on a new project. Elsa will use her experience in stem cell manipulation and culturing to dissect the molecular mechanisms of mRNA transport in induced neurons. More soon.
INTERNSHIP PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Elsa joined the lab as a CRG summer intern student in July 2016 and decided to continue her training for some more month. Initially, Elsa was testing optimal expression conditions for multimeric motor protein complexes. Then she continued to work with Sebastian Baumann on the purification of different motor proteins. Elsa left the lab after a long & productive internship in March 2017 to do her master studies in Goettingen, Germany.
