PROJECT DESCRIPTION

I am using the rec-YnH screen developed in the lab to identify direct protein-protein and RNA-protein interactions of importance for cytoplasmic mRNA distribution. The goal is to provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying mammalian mRNA localization and to further develop rec-Y3H screening for large scale applications.
